In 2017 I graduated from the University of Sunderland with a First Class Honours, Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB). In 2018 I graduated with a Distinction in the Legal Practice Course and Masters in Legal Practice (LPC LLM), which focused on research into the implications of Legal Aid cuts on legal representation in niche areas of legal practice.

Throughout my studies I worked as a Student Advisor within the University of Sunderland Student Law Clinic, providing free legal advice to members of the community. I provided legal advice in relation to a number of areas of law, mainly those relating to sensitive matters, vulnerable clients and issues of mental capacity.

I joined the Family department at Ben Hoare Bell LLP as a Paralegal in August 2018 and was involved in both public and private law matters, including Child Protection and Domestic Violence. In September 2019 I started my Period of Recognised Training in order to qualify as a solicitor. I am currently undertaking a seat in the Mental Health and Court of Protection department.
