P.C. Oliver Norris is to face a Police Disciplinary Panel following allegations he abused his position for sexual purposes concerning his contact with two women in 2016 and 2017.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) oversees Police misconduct matters in England and Wales.  The IOPC undertook its own investigation into the allegations against P.C. Norris and found evidence of a case to answer for gross misconduct.

It is understand the misconduct hearing will take place listed for 5 days beginning 18 November 2019.

P.C. Norris is a Constable with Lancashire Police. Gross misconduct is breaching the Police Standards of Professional Behaviour in such a serious way that if proved the Officer could be dismissed from the Police Force.
