Ben Hoare Bell LLP is proud to have been part of drafting a Bill to prevent early marriage under the age of 18 with parental consent. This upholds human rights relating to unwanted marriage for vulnerable young people and means that everyone has the same minimum marriage age of 18. The launch event took place in Parliament on 28 January 2020. Ben Hoare Bell LLP Partner Cris McCurley is meeting with Minister Maria Miller next week along with colleagues from the supporting organisations to discuss moving the Bill forward.
