On the 19th September, Cris was invited to give the keynote speech at an international conference on Forced marriage and Honour based violence , in Orebro, Sweden.
Other speakers from the Uk include…and the Governor of Orebro opened the conference. It was a theme of the day that there needs to be a European perspective and a consolidated approach to the issues. Also identified as key, was the ongoing support of victims once they have left the situation.
