On 24 October 2018 the BBC reported that an explicit file of women’s photos was being shared online. The link has been published on various social media sites and named the women, all of whom are stated to be from the Sunderland area.
Northumbria Police are investigating a report of malicious communication concerning the explicit photographs being circulated.
