Nida Ali - Lawyer
I graduated in July 2015 from Northumbria University where I obtained a Masters in Law, whilst achieving a Qualifying Law degree and Exemption from the Legal Practice Course. I graduated with Second Class Honours (Upper division).
During my final year at university I worked at the Student Law Office as a Family Legal Advisor and dealt with matters in relation to divorce and financial matters.
Throughout my final year I also completed my dissertation on ‘How legal developments regarding pregnancy and maternity have impacted women in employment.’ My area of focus was on the family-work conflict, pregnancy discrimination and research into why women were not progressing further within the workplace.
Following graduation I obtained vast experience in regards to Childcare law working as a Childcare Legal Assistant for a Local Authority.
I joined Ben Hoare Bell LLP in March 2017 as a paralegal in the Family Law department and at present deal with a mix of private and public law matters which include, Child Care matters, Child Protection, Domestic Violence, Child Arrangements, Divorce and Finance.
