I graduated from the University of Sunderland in 2006 with an honours degree in Law before attending Northumbria University to complete the Legal Practice Course. I qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 and have specialised in criminal defence ever since.
I have obtained Police Station and Duty Solicitor accreditation as well as Higher Rights of Audience (Crime) enabling me to represent clients as advocate in the Crown Court.
I am a highly experienced criminal lawyer and over the course of my career I have represented clients in the police station, Magistrates’ Court, Youth Court and Crown Court in relation to a wide range of serious offences.
I believe in helping clients to make informed choices concerning their case and helping them to try and achieve the best possible outcome. Being investigated by the police or prosecuted by the state can be a distressing experience but I will be supportive of my clients and help put their case across in the best possible light.
I joined Ben Hoare Bell in February 2019 and I work exclusively in criminal defence. If you require legal advice or representation regarding a criminal matter please do not hesitate to contact me on 0191 275 2626.
