I graduated from Northumbria University in July 2016 with an upper second class honours MLaw (Exempting) degree. This incorporated the Legal Practice Course. During my time at Northumbria I worked in the Student Law Office in a civil team which mainly dealt with actions against the police.
I joined Ben Hoare Bell in June 2016 as a Paralegal in the firm’s Family Law department. As a Paralegal I assisted senior solicitors with their caseload whilst also running my own. I advised on all areas of Family Law in particular Domestic Violence and Children Act Proceedings.
In August 2017 I joined the Mental Health and Court of Protection Team as a trainee solicitor. In June 2018 I was appointed to the Law Society’s Mental Health Accreditation Scheme and I now represent clients at Mental Health Tribunals. In March 2019 I qualified as a solicitor and I am based in the Mental Health and Court of Protection department.
